Terms of Service

1. Purpose

These terms set out the conditions for using K-Calculator ("the Service"), along with the rights and obligations of the Service and of you as a user.

2. What the Service provides

  1. The Service provides free calculators for everyday life in Korea - Korean age, lunar birthdays, zodiac animals, salary, tax, and more.
  2. You can use the Service without creating an account.
  3. Features may be added, changed, or discontinued without prior notice.

3. Calculation results and disclaimer

  1. Every result the Service produces is an estimate for reference only. It has no legal force, and it is not legal, tax, financial, immigration, or medical advice.
  2. Tax rates, contribution rates, and calendar rules change when the law changes, so a result may differ from reality. Always confirm exact figures with the relevant authority - for example the National Tax Service, the National Health Insurance Service, the Military Manpower Administration, or the Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute for calendar conversions.
  3. The Service does not guarantee that results are accurate or complete, and is not liable for decisions you make in reliance on a result or for any loss that follows from them.

4. Advertising

  1. The Service may display advertising (including Google AdSense) to cover the cost of running it.
  2. Ads are supplied by third-party advertising vendors. The Service takes no responsibility for the content of an ad or for any transaction between you and an advertiser.

5. Intellectual property

  1. Copyright and other intellectual property rights in the Service's layout, text, logo, and name ("K-Calculator") belong to the Service's operator.
  2. You may not copy, distribute, or commercially exploit that content without the operator's prior consent.

6. Your obligations

When using the Service, you must not:

  1. Place an excessive load on the Service through automated means, or otherwise interfere with its normal operation.
  2. Reverse-engineer or copy the Service in order to build a similar service.
  3. Break any applicable law, or otherwise interfere with the normal operation of the Service.

7. Changes to these terms

  1. The Service may revise these terms within the limits of applicable law.
  2. If the terms change, we'll post what changed and the date it takes effect on the Service, and the revised terms take effect from that posted date.

8. Governing law and disputes

  1. These terms are interpreted and applied under the laws of the Republic of Korea.
  2. If a dispute arises out of your use of the Service, you and the Service will negotiate in good faith to resolve it amicably.

These terms took effect on January 1, 2023. This English version is provided for your convenience; if it conflicts with the Korean version, the Korean version governs.
