Privacy Policy

K-Calculator ("the Service") takes your privacy seriously and follows South Korea's Personal Information Protection Act and related laws. This policy explains what the Service collects, why it collects it, and how long it's kept.
1. Overview
- Anyone can use the Service for free without creating an account. We never ask for your name, your date of birth as an identity document, or anything else that identifies you personally.
- The amounts and dates you type into a calculator are worked out inside your browser. That said, when a calculation finishes, a summary of the input and an anonymous identifier may be stored for statistics so we can improve the tools (see section 2). Nothing that identifies you is stored.
- This policy applies to every page on the Service, including the English pages under /en.
2. What we collect

The anonymous identifier is a random string stored in your browser. It isn't linked to any identity information, and clearing your browser storage resets it.
For community features we never store your raw IP address. It's processed only as an irreversible hash, and only to stop spam and abuse.
3. Why we collect it
- To read your reviews and questions, and to improve the Service.
- To reply to your question (only if you left an email address).
- To analyze usage statistics and make the Service easier to use.
- To serve advertising and measure how those ads perform.
- To analyze calculation logs and improve the tools.
- To run the community and moderate inappropriate posts such as spam or abuse.
4. How long we keep it
- Reviews and contact-form messages are destroyed without delay once the purpose they were collected for is met, and in any case are kept for 3 years from the date of collection unless a law requires otherwise.
- If you ask us to delete something you submitted, we destroy it without delay unless there's a legitimate reason not to.
- Automatically collected statistics and advertising data are retained according to the policies of the provider (Google LLC).
- Calculation logs are kept for 6 months from the date of collection and then destroyed.
- Community comments are kept until you delete them or an operator removes them as inappropriate, and are destroyed without delay when deleted.
5. Sharing and processors
- As a rule, the Service does not provide your personal information to outside parties. It does entrust the processing below in order to operate.

- These processors may run servers outside South Korea (in the United States), which means your data may be transferred to and stored abroad.
- If the scope of that processing or the processor itself changes, we'll announce it through this policy.
6. Cookies and advertising
- The Service uses cookies for usage analytics and for advertising.
- Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this site. Google's use of advertising cookies lets Google and its partners serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet.
- Personalized advertising. You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time in Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info/choices.
- If you're visiting from Europe. If you're in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you'll see a consent message before advertising and analytics cookies that require consent are placed. The message is served through a Google-certified consent management platform, it records whether you agreed to personalized advertising, and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time from the privacy settings link inside that message. If you don't consent, you may still see ads, but they won't be personalized.
- Turning cookies off yourself. You can block cookies in your browser settings. Some statistics won't be counted if you do, but every calculator on the Service keeps working normally.
7. Your rights
- You can ask to see or delete the reviews and contact-form messages you submitted.
- Send the request to the contact address in section 8. We'll act on it without delay unless there's a legitimate reason not to.
- You can reset your anonymous identifier at any time by clearing your browser storage.
- You can edit or delete your own community comments. If your anonymous identifier has been reset we can no longer confirm the comment is yours, so direct deletion may not be possible - in that case, contact us using section 8.

This policy took effect on January 1, 2023, and was last revised on July 12, 2026. This English version is provided for your convenience; if it conflicts with the Korean version, the Korean version governs.
